Bulk Mail

Mail that is rated for postage partly by weight and partly by the number of pieces in the mailing. The term is generally used to refer to Standard Mail. If you have 200 identical pieces, you're almost there. Unless your piece weighs over a pound or is odd shaped or "fat", you can qualify for standard bulk mail. The design of your mail must meet certain simple requirements and you need a bulk mail permit. You can use ours free if we do your mailing for you. There are 3 ways to mail- Enhanced carrier route, Automated (barcoded) and Non-Automated, Non-automation pieces have an address error that would not allow it to be assigned a zip+4 code and/or carrier route. You're taking your chances on mailing these pieces. Our software will correct most address errors for you, but its best if your list is corrected by you.

CASS Certification

( Coding Accuracy Support System )

The Coding Accuracy Support System (CASS) improves the accuracy of carrier route, five-digit ZIP, ZIP+4, and delivery point codes that appear on mailpieces and is required for all barcoded or carrier route mailings for postage savings. We include all the CASS processing at no extra charge when we maintain your mailing list.

Labeling

We can affix YOUR labels to your mail piece regardless of the quantity you are mailing or we can print the labels for you and affix them to your mail piece.

Inkjet Addressing

We can print addresses directly onto your mailpiece for a more personalized look at speeds of up to 12,000 and hour. Lots of other special applications for inkjet printing are available.

File Conversion

We can convert most formats for you and separate combined fields when necessary. We have computer programmers on our staff that can design and create special conversion programs to meet almost any format. You can also send us your information several ways: on-line e-mail, diskette, hardcopy, fax, handwritten, rolodex cards, index cards or our FTP site.

Folding

If your printing company forgets to fold your pieces or you print your own pieces and don't want to take the time to fold them , we can do that too!

Delivery To Bulk Mailing Center

We provide free delivery to our local bulk mailing center.

Stamp/Permit

You can use our permit free of charge if it is printed on your mail piece AND we mail it. If you forgot to have the permit printed by the printer, don't worry, we can print it while we're addressing your mail. Or if you prefer, we can put real stamps on with our affixer.

Barcoding

The POSTNET ( POSTal Numeric Encoding Technique ) barcode system is used by the USPS for translating ZIP Code, ZIP+4 code, and delivery point code information into a machine-readable format that consists of a series of vertical full and half bars. That's the short bars above or below your mailing address that allows you to get the automation postage rates. The automation rates are probably the best you'll get for small mailings (up to around 2000 pieces of localized mail). Carrier route rates are the best postage rates and you will probably qualify some of your mail for these rates the larger your list gets.

Strapping

The post office requires most of your mail trays to be strapped with polypropylene strapping material. Of course, if we do your mailing we will take care of that.

Direct Mail

An industry term for advertising mail sent to targeted markets. It can be any mail class, but it is usually Standard Mail. We can target your prospective customers in several ways by providing you with a mailing list with specifics such as income, age, children and so on. Direct Mail is also used to inform your current customers of new products or services your company has made available. You could use a questionnaire to see what your customers are buying from your competition and determine why they are not buying it from you. You might even want to check current customers with NCOA (National Change of Address) to make sure they haven't moved.

Tabbing

That's the little round tab you see on tri-folded mail. The post office requires that all self-mailers be tabbed. If you leave your open end at the top, one tab is usually all that is required. If it is open at the bottom, it usually takes at least 2.

Pave Certification

( Presort Accuracy, Validation, & Evaluation )

A program in which the USPS provides testing for certain categories of presort software to determine compliance of sorting address information to USPS standards and the ability to produce standardized documentation.

Merge/Purge

We can merge two or more lists together and purge any duplicates. Duplicates cost you money and they also make the customer feel like they are just a name on a list instead of a valued customer. We can also purge duplicates from your current list as well.

Inserting

We can insert your letter size mail into an envelope. We also do more time consuming hand inserting when necessary.

We can process your mail here and drop ship it anywhere in the U.S. to get you the best discount available. We do only U.S.A. mailings.
